Now in its third year, the Foster’s Community Grants Program has awarded over seventy grants to the value of $2million to Not for Profit organisations across Australia and North America.

Designed to mirror Foster’s core focus themes of wellness, culture and the environment, the program enables a diverse mix of community groups to apply for a cash grant.

The Grants Program is also a successful way of supporting local communities in areas where Foster’s people live and work.

The 2008 granting round opens Monday 7 April and closes Friday 23 May.

For Not for Profit organisations interested in applying for a community grant, Foster’s recommends supporting the application with evidence of community support, the organisation’s proven capacity to plan and deliver projects and the project’s proposed measures.

There is no maximum or minimum dollar value on the grants and there is no limit on the number of applications an eligible group may make. Interested organisations can apply for a grant via the Foster’s Group corporate website from 7 April through to 23 May 2008.

Grants will be allocated to successful organisations four months after the closing date.
