The lecturers include Dr Cameron Newton (management and governance) who researches nonprofit organisational behaviour; Dr Wendy Scaife (fundraising and development) who has spent a decade in fundraising and nonprofit management taking a health research charity from start up to a national organisation; Professor Myles McGregor-Lowndes (law and governance) who actively undertakes research related to nonprofit and charity law and consults to state and federal governments on nonprofit tax and legal reform; and Dr Gavin Nicholson (governance and management) who has spent a decade as a governance consultant to for profit and nonprofit boards and is an author of three books including ‘Boards that work: A new guide for directors’.
This course allows you to build your professional knowledge and skills in focal nonprofit topics, including governance, management, ethical practices, legal issues, fundraising, accounting, and marketing.
