9 March 2011 at 10:31 am

The SBS Foundation is calling for Not for Profit organisations to apply for a share in $2 million worth of television airtime.

As part of the SBS aim of serving the Australian community and helping to create a more inclusive, tolerant society, the SBS Foundation has been supporting Australian Not for Profit organisations since 2009.

SBS has entered into partnership agreements with 45 Not for Profit organisations, giving their television campaigns the best chance of exposure and success.

The NFPs the SBS Foundations has worked with cover a diverse range of causes, from cancer to mental health as well as NFPs that work with Indigenous communities and refugees, the arts sector and environmental charities.

The SBS Foundation will be donating $2 million of airtime on SBS during 2011, and any interested NFPs are invited to apply.

Nominations from Not for Profit organisations wanting a share in the airtime close at 5pm (DEST) Thursday 31 March 2011.
