Not for Profit organisations around the country are being given the chance to win free design work as part of a new Christmas initiative.
Design agency 99designs is offering 12 Not for Profits the chance to win design work as part of its 12 Days of Design Giveaway.
Said to be the largest graphic design marketplace, 99designs recently launched ‘99nonprofits’ – a program providing several charitable organisations each month with free design graphic design contests valued between $199 and $599.
“With 2013 just around the corner, chances are a lot of Not for Profits are thinking of priorities – and budgets – for 2013,” the agency said.
“If a new logo, website redesign, or graphic design work for an event or campaign is on the horizon for your readers, then it’s likely that “free” sounds pretty good.”
Since its launch in July this year, 99nonprofits has given 24 Not for Profits free logos, web pages, social media, brochures, flyers, t-shirts and other types of design work.
“We’ve helped Australian organisations as diverse as Carpets for Communities and The Big Feed reach their design goals,” the agency said.
99designs’ chief operating officer Jason Sew Hoy said: “Good design is critical in creating a professional image for businesses and not-for-profits alike, and 99designs wants to help by uplifting brands that tirelessly care for the less fortunate.”
“We are proud to support the Not for Profit sector through our 99nonprofits initiative. The charitable organisations selected during our 12 day giveaway will receive free design work worth up to $599 that will help them ring in 2013 with a new logo, website or graphic design."
Applications are being accepted from now until December 20.
One organisation will be chosen to participate each day from now until December 21.
