Australian employers who ran campaigns in Workplace Giving Month in June 2012 saw an average 30 per cent increase in staff engagement in workplace giving, according to The Australian Charities Fund.

ACF, who’s 2013 Workplace Giving Month initiative kicks off on June 1, says the campaign is designed to build awareness of workplace giving, drive staff participation and donation growth, and celebrate the impact each workforce’s collective donations have made in the community

“From our research we know employee engagement is a key driver for business to promote workplace giving, and the great news is that 90 per cent of employees tell us they are interested in their employer’s workplace giving program – they just need to be inspired to join,” General Manager at The Australian Charities Fund, Margaret Smith said.

“We want to make Workplace Giving Month promotion easy for employers and charities so we have developed exclusive resource kits for our partners. For non partners, we’ve shared some top tips on our website for promoting workplace giving and driving participation.”

To recognise the efforts of all employers to drive workplace giving growth, the employer with the highest percentage increase in staff participation (as a result of a Workplace Giving Month campaign as at 30 June 2013) will receive ACF’s Workplace Giving Month 2013 Engagement Award.

Register your business for Workplace Giving Month 2013.
