Pro Bono Australia Launches 2018 Salary Survey
9 November 2017 at 8:40 am
For the sixth consecutive year Pro Bono Australia is calling on not-for-profit executives and managers to take part in the sector’s largest benchmarking salary survey.
In partnership with chartered accounting group HLB Mann Judd, industry super fund HESTA and Beveridge Consulting, the survey will provide vital information around benchmarking data for key roles, salary levels for CEOs, executive and manager remuneration comparisons, professional development trends and remuneration policies used by organisations across the sector.
This year’s salary survey will provide a strong comparative analysis of growth within the sector and deliver some insights around employee engagement and workplace benefits, including salary sacrificing and superannuation contributions.
“Pro Bono Australia’s Salary Survey is the largest and most comprehensive remuneration report providing both practical and in-depth information on selecting appropriate benchmarks and building a remuneration framework for Australia’s not-for-profit sector,” Pro Bono Australia founder Karen Mahlab AM said.
“This vital resource ensures the sector can retain and attract the quality people it needs to drive the sector forward.
“We are calling on all senior managers and executives working in the sector to complete this short survey and be a part of this vital initiative.”

HLB Mann Judd said they were proud to partner Pro Bono Australia Salary Survey for the fourth consecutive year. As specialised not for profit advisers, HLB Mann Judd collaborates with organisations to make an impact and advance their mission.
HESTA is the super fund dedicated to health and community services and has been for 30 years, with more than 830,000 members and $40 billion in assets. HESTA again joins Pro Bono Australia to help deliver a comprehensive salary survey.
Beveridge Consulting, which partners with organisations to drive business results through workshops, conference sessions, remuneration consulting and candidate assessment, will again provide the rigorous survey analysis and compilation.
Participants who complete the survey will receive 50 per cent off the purchase price of the final report and will go in the draw to have $500 donated to a charity of their choice.
The salary survey results will be published in April 2018. All responses will be kept strictly confidential.
