There will be four sessions hosted in ANZ, with iRaiser’s regional manager, Rebecca Thomson, joined by Giving Tuesday APAC and Red Cross Australia as part of this year’s iRaiser 2021 Fundraising Week. It’s an event not to be missed.

From 20 to 24 September, iRaiser will host a full week of free webinars designed to help fundraisers overcome the many challenges they face and be ahead of the game by anticipating future fundraising and payment trends in the digital space. You can join one, two, three or all the sessions, it’s totally up to you.

As part of iRaiser’s global expansion into the APAC region, for the first time this year we will see four sessions hosted locally in ANZ.

Namely, iRaiser is delighted to be joined by Peter Gibson from Red Cross Australia who will share his top tips in “Digital Fundraising Where To Begin”.

What’s more, the Giving Tuesday (GT) APAC team will dial in from Hong-Kong and Singapore to share with you an update on the successful GT Global movement which has raised billions for not for profits (NFPs) all around the world. Discover how organisations in ANZ could benefit from the GT movement.

Session summary:

The digital landscape continues to change rapidly which presents both challenges and opportunities for the NFP sector. Peter Gibson, digital lead from Red Cross Australia, will share his top tips in preparing a winning strategy. Join us to get a sneak peek behind the scenes of one of Australia’s largest NFPs and how they work as a team to master the digital landscape.

Speakers:

Kait Sheridan, manager of the community of Global Leaders for #GivingTuesday

Cherisse Beh, regional director Asia Pacific, The Starling Collective

Rebecca Thomson, regional Manager ANZ, iRaiser

Session Summary:

iRaiser, together with the APAC Giving Tuesday team, will provide valuable insights into how organisations and NGOs can get behind this global movement. Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. It is an independent NFP and a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. Over 300 global leaders from over 75 countries drive the movement raising millions and seeing amazing acts of kindness and generosity. There is no cost to participate, this is truly the power of good coming together globally on one day/month of the year with the pure motivation to help others. As a result charities all over the world benefit. On 1 December 2020, over 2.4 billion USD were raised in 24 hours in the US alone!
