The much-anticipated 2024 Salary Survey has been released, just in time for mid-year remuneration discussions and reviews.

Now in its 12th year, the Salary Survey is the quintessential, trusted guide to remuneration in Australia’s not for profit and for-purpose sector. It’s the largest study of salary information in the sector and is a useful resource for sector leaders responsible for making decisions about remuneration and benefits.

What is the Salary Survey?

The Pro Bono Australia Salary Survey is a report analysing current trends in remuneration in roles across the not for profit and for-purpose sectors. It is comprehensive, spanning dozens of position titles, and current, using the latest data as reported by the sector.

The 2024 edition includes 1570 cases spanning 37 positions, providing an overview of salary trends analysed by role, sector, size of organisation, location and operating budget. The report also features an editorial that analyses key working data relating to non-executive directors.

What can I do with the Salary Survey?

The Salary Survey is a benchmarking tool for human resources leaders, line managers, executives and boards to use when making decisions about appropriate management for staff at all levels of the organisation. It allows managers to compare roles and other factors impacting on salary, with breakdowns by sector, operating budgets, number of FTE employees, location and tax status. It can be purchased as a single complete document covering all 37 positions, or as multiple documents covering individual roles – allowing you to make the choice that best suits your workplace.

In today’s tough jobs market, it is more important than ever to offer fair compensation – both to attract the right new talent, and to retain your best staff. The Pro Bono Australia Salary Survey provides insights into the industry that can be tailored to your organisation’s needs and situation. It is easy to navigate and available as a digital download for easy ongoing access.

Pro Bono Australia has been running its Salary Survey for 12 years, and it has cemented its place as the most trusted remuneration resource for Australia’s not for profit and for-purpose sector.
