The State Chamber of Commerce NSW has commissioned the Australian
Institute of Corporate Citizenship (AICC) to undertake research for the Chamber’s forthcoming Common Good Program publication ‘The Social Accounting Guide’.

AICC is looking to hear from businesses, including small and medium sized
businesses, that are actively undertaking Social Accounting so the AICC can
consider their inclusion as case studies in The Social Accounting Guide.

This is the first time such a study has been undertaken in Australia.
Information collected will indicate progress by business towards
comprehensive Social Accounting methods.

Professor David Birch the Director of the Corporate Citizenship Research Unit at Deakin University says benchmarking opportunities, and numerous forms of positive recognition for individual businesses are other possible outcomes of being involved in the research.
