A Melbourne-based consulting firm is offering a free strategic planning service for Not for Profit organisations to help them achieve their goals.

Available from mid-February, Mainstay Business Services will offer three Not for Profits whose revenues do not exceed $3 million per annum help in developing a strategic plan.

“Developing the plan will require Boards/ Committees to set aside a full day to participate in a workshop,” managing director Bill Ellerton said.

Ellerton said that short face-to-face meetings with the organisation’s CEO and/or chair and the completion of some templates by Board/ Committee members prior to the workshop will be necessary.

“All of this and the presentation of the draft Strategic Plan to the Board/Committee are included in the free offer,” Ellerton said.

Bill Ellerton, an experienced executive who holds an MBA as well as a number of other academic qualifications, will lead the consulting service.

He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, the Australian British Chamber of Commerce and is a Trustee of the Committee for the Economic Development of Australia.

He currently serves on the Board of Neurofibromatosis Australia incorporating the Children’s Tumour Foundation and previously served on the Board’s of Heartkids Victoria and Heartkids Australia.

Government funded organisations and sporting bodies are excluded from the offer and other conditions may apply.
