Arts Victoria’s New Grants Program

Online registrations have opened for Arts Victoria’s new VicArts Grants program, offering between $5,000 and $75,000 for projects that will develop Victoria’s arts sector.

Applications are open to all art forms and types of creative projects.

Victorian Arts Minister Heidi Victoria encouraged professional artists and organisations with creative ideas to register their details and kick start their applications for project funding in 2014.

“Whether you’re a musician, a circus performer, a poet, a painter or any discipline in between – VicArts Grants is looking to support the very best ideas and creative projects,” she said.

“While VicArts Grants will continue to support the types of activity that Arts Victoria has supported in the past, the program’s more open and flexible approach will provide scope for new, innovative ideas and collaborations that might not have fitted all the criteria for the former grant programs.

“The application process has also been streamlined and for the first time applications will be accepted online.”

Arts Victoria’s new online grants portal is now open for registrations and applications for funding will be accepted from Monday 2 September 2013.

Applications close on Wednesday September 18 for projects starting from January 2014.
